Elite Mindset

We train goalkeepers to think at a higher level to embrace pressure, demand excellence from themselves, and approach every session with professionalism and purpose. An elite mindset means preparing daily, competing relentlessly, and understanding that growth comes from intentional work.

02

Relentless Growth

We challenge goalkeepers to pursue consistent improvement technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Through small group training and individualized goalkeeper training sessions, we create clear development pathways that push each athlete beyond their comfort zone.

03

Technical Foundation

Our sessions emphasize detailed technical execution footwork, handling, positioning, distribution, decision-making, and game-realistic scenarios. We prioritize clean repetition, precision, and proper mechanics before increasing intensity. A strong technical base allows goalkeepers to perform consistently under pressure.

Community & Character

At Top 90 GK, we emphasize leadership, communication, and accountability. We build relationships with families, review performance together, and create an environment where dedication and determination are recognized and appreciated. Our goal is to develop confident athletes who lead with integrity both on and off the field.

From the Founder

Top 90 GK was founded out of a deep passion for seeing goalkeepers develop the skills required to succeed. Over the past four years, we have trained goalkeepers across every level of competition from NCAA Division I–III athletes to semi-professional players competing in the UPSL and WPSL, as well as high school and youth goalkeepers, both male and female.

Testimonials

"I feel like a big part was the energy and ensuring that there was a standard of pushing myself and it was a very encouraging environment"
Girls High School Athlete
"He actively listens to feedback, communicates clearly, and tailors sessions to the individual goalkeeper. He focuses on long-term development rather than quick fixes, which builds trust and confidence"
Women’s College Athlete
"The environment was demanding but supportive. Sessions were intense and realistic, but mistakes were treated as learning moments. The coaching style challenged me to think for myself, not just follow instructions, which helped my confidence in coming back from an injury where I haven't touched a ball in 2 weeks"
Men’s College Athlete
“Coach Oscar provides a high-tempo training environment centered on technical precision and immediate mechanical correction. Rather than relying on generalized encouragement, the coaching style is defined by a high volume of specific, real-time adjustments.”
Grade School Athlete
“Our younger keeper is far more confident on the field after he began training with Coach Oscar. He has progressed beyond playing on instinct and has begun to show some technique and strategy. Previously he was very cautious about attacking in a one on one situation and recently he has been far more comfortable coming off the line.”

FAQs

Things to know before training with us.

Who is this training for?

Our programs are designed for goalkeepers of all levels — from beginners learning the position to advanced players preparing for high school, academy, or collegiate competition. We tailor training based on age, experience, and goals.

What does a typical training session look like?

Sessions combine technical skills (handling, footwork, diving, positioning), game-real scenarios, and mental training. Each session is structured, high-intensity, and focused on measurable improvement.

How often should a goalkeeper train?

We generally recommend 1–3 sessions per week, depending on the player’s age, schedule, and competitive level. Consistency matters more than frequency.

Do you train goalkeepers for both match play and development?

Yes. We help keepers improve long-term while also preparing them for real match situations, pressure moments, and decision-making in games.

What makes your training different from regular team practice?

Team practices often give goalkeepers limited specialized attention. Our training is position-specific, detail-oriented, and designed exclusively around the unique demands of being a goalkeeper.
